Our arts community

Partnerships & Testimonials

We partner with organizations located in the San Francisco Bay Area that offer summer arts programs for young people and in need of scholarship assistance.

The Foundation Scholarship fund provides partial or full scholarships for individual students and groups of students. Working closely with program directors allows us to understand their needs and determine the maximum impact of the scholarships.

For the summer of 2024, we plan to continue our partnership with the organizations listed below and seek to add summer programs for kids interested in fine arts, film photography and creative writing. If your organization’s summer youth program fits this criteria please contact us. We would love to hear from you.

Youth Musical Theater Company

Youth Musical Theater Company located in Berkeley provides training to young theater artists in all disciplines of musical theatre through musical production and summer workshops.

“I’m really grateful that I was one of the chosen recipients of the scholarship. YMTC has been very helpful with my journey in discovering who I am as an actor, and this will be the first time I get to do one of their summer programs. I am excited.

Alec W – Class of ’23

Thank you so much for providing me with the opportunity to take these two workshops. I really got a lot out of them and most likely wouldn’t have taken them without the scholarship.

ArtSeed

ArtSeed’s summer week-long intensive for students ages 6-18, connects diverse communities and cultures through professional artists who interact with them in fine arts studio projects. Students will learn new visual arts techniques and visit local museums.

The ArtSeed classes have given me the opportunity to create art meaningful to me and hopefully to others as well. I have learned new techniques and have learned about a variety of artists and their work. The staff members are very friendly, caring and supportive of me and the other participants.

A Kumar – student
